The K.A.L.A. programme grew out of women visiting Garima Grih — PVR Nest's community centres built alongside Delhi's Pink Toilet facilities — and asking if they could learn something, join a course, and spend their time well. What began from that everyday ask, and from the community's existing interest in sewing and reading, became a full centre for knowledge, skilling, and community learning.

My role in this public service design project was bringing this film to life through animated text and graphic elements layered onto the existing footage and design. he animation had to sit alongside intimate portraits of the women themselves, keeping the energy alive without pulling focus from the people at the heart of the story.
